Fire Batts and Mastic - Fire Protection Systems from Dufaylite
The Dufaylite Fire Batts and
Mastic system provides up to 4 hours
passive fire resistance to BS 476 Part 20 in
sealing service penetrations in walls and floors.
- The Dufaylite Fire Batts have a mineral fibre
core coated both sides with Dufaylite fire resistant
mastic.
- The Fire Batt mineral fibre core is manufactured using a
process that maintains the integrity of the board during
installation to minimise wastage.
- The Dufaylite Mastic is a high performance,
flexible, water based acrylic mastic. It is ablative in nature,
which means that, in fire conditions, Dufaylite Mastic changes into
a tough and highly resistant ceramic coating. Dufaylite Mastic has
low smoke and toxicity properties and it is fibre and halogen
free.
